President's Homecoming Tailgate

About the Event

There’s no place like home, especially on a fall football Saturday. Join President Kevin Guskiewicz for the annual President’s Homecoming Tailgate as we welcome home 2026 Grand Marshal Susan Packard and celebrate the traditions, people and places that bring Spartans together. 

Bring your family and connect with friends, fellow alums and members of the Spartan community before Michigan State takes on Illinois.

Homecoming tailgate highlights:

• Fuel up before kickoff with game day fare and drinks.

• Meet Sparty and the 2026 Homecoming Court.
• Enjoy yard games and live music from the MSU College of Music.
• Rally with special appearances by the Spartan Marching Band and the MSU Cheer and Dance Teams.
• A chance to welcome Vice President and Director of Athletics Dan Bartholomae

Please RSVP by Oct. 4 or as space permits.

Advance registration is required, and space is limited. This annual event always sells out, so don't delay!

Price

Tailgate tickets are $50 per adult and $25 per child ages 2-12, which includes tailgate fare, a hosted beer and wine bar and a specialty cocktail.

Optional parking at the Kellogg Center Ramp is available for an additional $40 and may be selected during registration.

Notes

Football game tickets are not included or available with tailgate registration. Please visit the Spartan Ticket Office or call 1-800-GO-STATE for more information about purchasing game tickets.
